HOME SWEET HOME is a hand-formed steel sign that flashes, letter by letter, at a rate that makes the ubiquitous phrase unnerving; even uncomfortable. The piece is placed on the floor, filling the entire room with flickering patterns of light that batter the viewers as they pass through the space. This installation adds to the growing collection of psychological sculptures found in the Domestic Carnival project.
